Facilities at the URC Centre
Church Area
The Church Area is very light and airy space with a high ceiling and good natural light. It has a carpeted floor and a raised stage. With the back doors opened the space has a capacity of 100. When using the space with the back panels closed, the capacity is 60.

Balcony Area
The Balcony area is particularly interesting showing off the vaulted ceiling and views of the main windows. It has a carpeted floor and an area that could sit about 50. There is a lift available for visitors that need it.

Main Hall
The main hall area is the first open space as you come into the main doors. This can be separated from the church area by dividing panels. The space is ideal for small meeting groups.

Kitchen
Our hiring packages allow for shared use of the kitchen when booking either the main hall or church area, or exclusive use when booking the entire hall.
The kitchen measures 5m by 3.5m and connects to the main hall via a serving hatch as well as a door, and also has a small serving hatch to the Committee Room.

AV Equipment
The Mere URC Centre boasts a state-of-the-art AV setup. There is a big screen available (on wheels) for use on the main stage and smaller screens situated in the main hall and on the balcony. A full sound system is available with wired microphones and there is a loop installed.
